【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofassessingthesulfateresistanceofmortarsmadeusingportlandcement,blendsofportlandcementwithpozzolansorslags,andblendedhydrauliccements.MethodC452issuitableforevaluatingportlandcementsbutnotblendedcementsorblendsofportlandcementwithpozzolansorslags.Thestandardexposuresolutionusedinthistestmethod,unlessotherwisedirected,contains352molesofNa2SO4perm3(50g/L).OthersulfateconcentrationsorothersulfatessuchasMgSO4maybeusedtosimulatetheenvironmentalexposureofinterest.FurtherdiscussionoftheseandothertechnicalissuesisgivenintheAppendix.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoflengthchangeofmortarbarsimmersedinasulfatesolution.MortarbarsmadeusingmortardescribedinTestMethodC109/C109Marecureduntiltheyattainacompressivestrengthof20.0x00B1;1.0MPa[3000x00B1;150psi],asmeasuredusingcubesmadeofthesamemortar,beforethebarsareimmersed.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
