【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestotheclassificationofdegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresforrotatingelectricalmachines.Itdefinestherequirementsforprotectiveenclosuresthatareinallotherrespectssuitablefortheirintendeduseandwhich,fromthepointofviewofmaterialsandworkmanship,ensurethatthepropertiesdealtwithinthisstandardaremaintainedundernormalconditionsofuse.Thisstandarddoesnotspecify:?degreesofprotectionagainstmechanicaldamageofthemachine,orconditionssuchasmoisture(producedforexamplebycondensation),corrosivedustandvapour,fungusorvermin;?typesofprotectionofmachinesforuseinapotentiallyexplosive(dust,vapour)environment.Incertainapplications(suchasagriculturalordomesticappliances),moreextensiveprecautionsagainstaccidentalordeliberatecontactmaybespecified.Thisstandardgivesdefinitionsforstandarddegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresapplicabletorotatingelectricalmachinesasregardsthe:a)protectionofpersonsagainstcontactswithorapproachtolivepartsandagainstcontactwithmovingparts(otherthansmoothrotatingshaftsandthelike)insidetheenclosureandprotectionofthemachineagainstingressofsolidforeignobjects;b)protectionofmachinesagainsttheharmfuleffectsduetoingressofwater.Itgivesdesignationsfortheseprotectivedegreesandteststobeperformedtocheckthatthemachinesmeettherequirementsofthisstandard.
